Statistics Public Lecture with the theme “Statistical Thinking” was held on Thursday September 8, 2016. The activity was held in the dean office, 3rd floor of the FSM Undip building. The activity was attended by all statistics students and statistics lecturers. The first session was delivered by the main speaker Drs, Kresnayana Yahya, M.Sc. In that session he delivered material regarding Statistics as a support for other sciences. Basically everything that happens in daily life requires data. Therefore data is an important part of daily life. He said that we as statisticians must be able to read the situation, we must learn other sciences. We must be able to draw conclusions from the data phenomenon. Many students were very enthusiastic about participating in the activity. Students get more scientific knowledge from these activities.
