The session featured Associate Professor Siti Rahayu Mohd Hashim from Universiti Sains Malaysia, a seasoned academic with extensive experience in guiding students and researchers toward successful scientific publications.<\/p>\n<p>The clinic, themed <em>\u201cFrom Research to Publication: Crafting High-Quality Journal Articles\u201d<\/em>, was moderated by Prajna Pramita Izati, S.Stat., M.Stat. and attended by final-year Statistics students. This activity was particularly relevant for senior students as it provided intensive mentoring on how to refine and prepare their manuscripts for submission to reputable journals.<\/p>\n<p>During the session, Associate Professor Siti Rahayu emphasized the importance of strengthening problem statements and selecting precise keywords for research objectives. She guided students to align their problem statements directly with objectives, methods, and results, thereby creating a coherent and impactful structure for their manuscripts. The interactive format allowed students to receive direct feedback on their drafts, helping them to improve clarity and academic rigor.<\/p>\n<p>Reflecting on the event, Associate Professor Siti Rahayu shared her positive impressions: <em>\u201cIt was a pleasure conducting the manuscript clinic for the final-year Statistics students. They already possess a strong grasp of basic writing guidelines. I am very pleased with how quickly they learned to map their problem statements directly to their objectives, methods, and results. This structural alignment will significantly improve the impact of their final manuscripts.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/stat.fsm.undip.ac.id\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/21-Mei-2026-Pendampingan-Intensif-Penulisan-Ilmiah-bagi-Mahasiswa-Tingkat-Akhir-Departemen-Statistika-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8547\" src=\"http:\/\/stat.fsm.undip.ac.id\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/21-Mei-2026-Pendampingan-Intensif-Penulisan-Ilmiah-bagi-Mahasiswa-Tingkat-Akhir-Departemen-Statistika-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1379\" height=\"775\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Manuscript Clinic is expected to strengthen the culture of scientific publication within the Department of Statistics, while equipping final-year students with practical skills to face the challenges of academic writing.
