STATISTICS CENTER UNDIP, WEDNESDAY (09/12/2015) – Indonesia held a simultaneous local election in 2015. The city of Semarang is also no exception with hosting a democratic party for the election of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Semarang. In the 2015 Semarang Pilwakot (Mayor Election), many survey agencies that conducted quick counts with the intention to provide the results of the 2015 Semarang Pilwakot calculation. Statistics Center – Statistics Center Independent Survey (SC-SCSI) Diponegoro University Student Association Semarang (Undip) also participated in holding a quick count for the Semarang Pilwakot this year.
The Quick Count is implemented by selecting 193 polling stations spread proportionally in 95 Villages (kelurahan) in 16 Sub-districts in Semarang City. The number of polling stations used as samples was selected using the combination method of Multistage Random Sampling.
